WORKING AT AQUILA STYLE
I initially started working for Aquila Style magazine as a freelancer, submitting articles for the website and digital magazine. Until they've employed me as a weekly columnist and then fashion editor.
During my time at Aquila, I was covering events in London, international stories of Muslim women and commissioning fashion editorials, from getting photographers, models to hair stylists and make up artists. I would be the stylist on those editorial shoots and accompany the editorials with written pieces.
The publication was based in Singapore and operating across South East Asia, but I was working remotely from London and liaising with the team via emails & shared drives.
Below are a limited selection of the work I have done for Aquila Style. The publication has closed in in early 2014.
